Heuer 76 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I have successfully installed Emby on Kodi for Windows, Emby Classic, Emby Theatre, Emby on my Nexus 6 and I have Emby for Android running on an AMLogic M6 box as an application. As the M6 is running Kodi I thought I would give the Emby for Kodi install a go. Unfortunately I get a script error and I can get no further. I am running the latest version installed from the repo and it gets as far as finding the Server and my username but fails without prompting me for a password. Tried logging out of Kodi and on going back in it attempts to start Emby but fails on the script error. I have uninstalled the old Mediabrowser. I assume it should be possible to run Emby for Kodi on one of these boxes? It is one of these: http://tinyurl.com/lj79l2v
Angelblue05 4132 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Can you disable kodi debug and only enable info debug in the emby for Kodi addon settings? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
xnappo 1611 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) You are running Gotham. You need a Helix build, preferably 14.1+ Also - you are running 'SPMC' which is a hacked XBMC to run with a different playback engine - this shouldn't cause a problem, but might Edited May 14, 2015 by xnappo
Heuer 76 Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 Kodi debug is disabled as far as I can tell (system details not appearing in top left in settings/system) and Emby debug is set to info. Another one: http://xbmclogs.com/pdbwa9dhb I will attempt to get the box to update to 14.1. Thanks for the pointers
Angelblue05 4132 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 @@Heuer like xnappo said, you need to update version to at least Helix - because our code is not fully backward compatible. 21:51:37 T:1842033232 ERROR: EXCEPTION Thrown (PythonToCppException) : -->Python callback/script returned the following error<-- - NOTE: IGNORING THIS CAN LEAD TO MEMORY LEAKS!
