MrWebsmith 598 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) https://www.dropbox.com/s/xwiwpcfvfsvwaay/trakttaskerror.jpg?dl=0 I just got a brand new, completely blank starting trakt account. I'd like to be using this plugin again and I'm having a lot of issues with it running the sync task successfully. "input string was not in the correct format" is the txt in the notification for the failure... i believe its something in my movies library, but i'd like a dev to comment/help please! i use UNC paths/shares for my libraries.. im only using the plugin for 1 emby user. dev server: Version 3.0.5610.18556 trakt plugin: 3.0.5584.22492 full log here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vdp710ixdodqdp6/server-63567035186.txt?dl=0 (contains the code chunk below) trakt xml (password removed): https://www.dropbox.com/s/mjp4sg9ldqfmkxc/Trakt%20-%20Copy.xml?dl=0 update/more: if i exclude the movies library the task will complete (so just tv sync).. if that helps. below seems to be the "meat" of the error but its gibberish to me 2015-05-12 13:50:18.4222 Info - App: Executing Sync library to trakt.tv 2015-05-12 13:50:18.6250 Info - Trakt: 34540 Items found for 'Matt'. 2015-05-12 13:50:18.6250 Info - App: HttpClientManager GET: https://api-v2launch.trakt.tv/sync/watched/movies 2015-05-12 13:50:18.6562 Debug - HttpServer: HTTP Response 204 to 64.9.5.132. CBers 7450 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Did you see the DLL that @@Luis posted in the other thread ?? I also found a way of deleting your Trakt content: https://github.com/damienhaynes/TraktRater/releases Worked OK for me.
MrWebsmith 598 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 ill try the new dll thanks cb! this is a brand new/trakt account so i shouldnt have anything on the movies side to worry about... 1
CBers 7450 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 You can only try it. Perhaps post in that other thread as well.
Trevor68 70 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Same, trakt has not synced for months, so finally decided to look into it. yardameus 221 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 May be a seperate issue, but I created a new account to work with the new plugin, and any time I had the plugin installed, I had severe performance issues while browsing my library, on any client. Old account wouldn't even connect with plugin.
MrWebsmith 598 Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 is this plugin dead developmentally? anyone ever try to take a look at this? currently on dev: Version 3.0.5675.4156 i wondered if Bluray or DVD folder rips may be part of the problem so i hunted them all down and moved them out of my movie library, rescanned a couple times to confirm and then tried to include my movies library again in the Trakt config... BAM error comes up 6-8s into the task.. same exact error msg as above... if i EXCLUDE that movie library and leave my TV library then the sync will complete. Again, i need someone to look into this and at least point me at the offending movie/movies as i have no way of seeing what its doing movie by movie and where its failing. hopefully someday this will be seen/fixed. 1
BarryAmerika 24 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 MrWebsmith, in hunting down a problem with the metadata scraper I managed to identify movie folders with two video files in them as the culprit. In a batch clean up a few years ago some duplicate movies were renamed and combined accidentally, plus I had some very old movie files that were split into CD sized files from the old days. Once I got rid of these scraping was able to complete. This was before I installed the trakt plugin. Currently trakt seems to be fighting between my emby and plex servers to set and unset watched status but issues with the kodi plugin are not making this easy for me to problem solve. I had to do full rescraping taking a few hours each time, and note folder modification dates a few times to identify the culprits and get scraping to complete. There is probably a much easier way to do this. 1
MrWebsmith 598 Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 interesting and THANKS for another thing to search for.. i will check for any doubles... do you have local trailers in with your files? as certainly i have a ton (but i would think many users would also..) that are movie and trailer in the same folder.. but i will def do some more digging and see if anything jumps out at me along these lines..
MrWebsmith 598 Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) with the newest (yesterday/today) trakt plugin update i did a re-test of my issue here: dev emby: Version 3.0.5676.39139 trakt version: 3.0.5676.35585 extra/NEW logging enabled in trakt settings annndddd... my issue may be fixed???? ... i un-excluded my problem library (movies) and the task sync still is completing.. took about 2 mins.. i watched it.. i never got to to 100% but it never failed.. it sort of "skipped" from 40ish % to done... maybe thats good? maybe its just ingnoring my issue and not erroring out?? not a clue.. time to go see what the trakt website shows for my movies now. ill keep testing and report back. it looks from this log (where ive successfully run the sync task like 5 times in a row)... that its adding a few/sometimes up to 150 movies at a time.. so i may just run it a bunch over this weekend and see how it "fills in" https://www.dropbox.com/s/nauoyyjcz0vj6fd/server-63572806261.txt?dl=0 Edited July 18, 2015 by MrWebsmith
BarryAmerika 24 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 The skipping was what happened to me, only with metadata scrape not trakt. It was an error with the subtitle scraping that caught my attention and led me to realise it wasn't completing. And fortunately it was at 92%, nearly finished. There were problems due to a 3rd party scraper I ran on my library many years ago that I was finally getting around to correcting, banner shaped images for posters on the odd movie etc. My cumbersome method was to do a parent folder level search for .jpg, .tbn, .nfo etc and delete it all first. As far as I can tell trakt is working exactly as it should for me. There were no trailers in the folders. Duplicate video files were generally either the same thing and appended with (1) or similar. All were above the cutoff size of 150mb which was to do with ignoring or deleting samples but this is possibly a couch potato setting and nothing to do with emby. Another thing to check for might be funny characters in folder or file names, like colons or slashes and such.
