descriptions and other wording cut off

Recently built a new HTPC (finally gave in an gave windows 8 a try) and for some reason no matter the resolution the lettering in the descriptions on Emby Theater doesn't fit the screen. they are all cut off on the right side (see pic). Didn't have tthis problem on the win7 pc so I don't know if its a win8 thing or what.  I'm using the current EmBy Theater build 3.0.5591.19855. any help appreciated

Your screenshot is roughly 4:3 aspect ratio. Most testing with Emby Theater has been done at 16:9 so I would try that. Also, make sure your system dpi setting is at default 100%

Text size settings? Control panel, display, dpi settings. Something like that?

thanks for the quick response. 16x9 fixed it but only in 1366x768 so i guess thats my new permanent resolution. thanks again
