User library access not updating to Parental Control

Each member of our family has a unique username; I organize our library into folders (TV Shows, Children's TV Shows, Movies, Children's Movies, etc.) for kids and adults. Previously I used the Library Access restriction on a per user basis, now I would like to start using Parental Control since my kid's are growing. I've tested this by setting the access to the all libraries with "PG/TV-PG" setting for my oldest, but when accessing from my phone for testing, there results are the same as before. I've restarted the server and checked all user preferences, but the results don't change at all. What else is there to check?

well you need to make sure your content has that metadata

I've verified. Most of the metadata was automatically filled in for Parental Rating, but I changed the ones that were not. There still seems to be a filter involved that is preventing even me from viewing the Children's libraries from my user account, even though "Enable access to all libraries" is checked.

 

The strange thing to me is that when I first setup MB, I setup access to the libraries per user. When I went in to change to Parental Rating, every user had "Enable access to all libraries" checked.

 

Maybe I should remove all and start over?

Yea, I had to delete each account, and set them up again with Parental Controls. Somewhere along the way, Emby Server didn't inherit this information properly with upgrades.
