siredgar 6 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I have a set of 7 files that were originally aired as individual episodes (Doctor Who Dreamland, episodes 1-7). However, they were later combined and released as a single episode as part of the main Doctor Who (2005) TV show. This is how Thetvdb knows of this episode. Thetvdb has it/them listed as Doctor Who s00e15 (http://thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid=78804&seasonid=26260&lid=7) Is there a naming convention for a single TV series episode split into multiple files? I did not find anything in a search of the wiki or forum but am not sure my searches were very good. I know there were some options for multi-file movies, but didn't find anything for TV series. Right now I have them named: Doctor Who - s00e15.1 - Dreamland 1 of 7.mp4 Doctor Who - s00e15.2 - Dreamland 2 of 7.mp4 ... Doctor Who - s00e15.7 - Dreamland 7 of 7.mp4 Which I know is invalid for Emby. Is there a naming convention I can use, or do I need to find a utility to combine them into a single file? Thanks!
Luke 42077 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 It's probably a good idea that we support that, but we don't right now. You can combine them with mkvmerge just by dragging and dropping
