Macburp 112 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 So I've had my Nexus Player for a month and I'm already on the third set of batteries. Is this remote supposed to run down the battery so quickly, or do I have a problem? Views appreciated.
ebr 16169 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 I've never changed my battery but I may not be using it as much as you are.
dark_slayer 103 Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I've had mine on the original set since Christmas Do you use search a lot?

CBers 7450 Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I'd raise an RMA with Google, or wherever you bought it, and get a replacement. There is a remote app you can use if you have to send it back before a replacement is delivered. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.tv.remote 1
dark_slayer 103 Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 You may also be able to use your TV remote through HDMI cec. Works for me on my Sony and Vizio TVs

jdannels 0 Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I've had my nexus for a month and no issues with the remote to speak of.
