Running Emby in Linux Lite VB problem with network share

Emby is running smoothly I have mounted a CIFS share and a FTP in virtualbox where I am running  LinuxLite but Emby cant detect any mounted partition in the nework area on Linux Lite. I have tried searching through the forums but couldent find any solution, any help would be appreciated.

Just to recap and see if I understand your setup correctly:
You have a VirtualBox virtual machine running LinuxLite as an OS where you have a working emby server. In that OS you have mounted a samba share which you are trying to access from emby-server. Is that correct thus far?

If so: how does it become noticeable that emby "can't detect" the mounted partition? If the network share is already mounted it is simply a folder in the file system you can navigate to when trying to add the path to the library?
