jriker1 20 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I've always thought the current music interface wasn't very intuitive for selecting songs, playlists, playing one song vs a whole album. I exclusively use an Xbox so not sure if that is relevant though the music interface seems like default Windows Media Center for the most part once you start playing and stuff. Is there better plugins for playing music and if so, does it extend to the Xbox 360? Thanks. JR
jriker1 20 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Guess I left enough time go by. No alternatives for my situation are available I'm guessing. Thanks. JR
c0m3r 95 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Music isn't something that has received much attention thus far I have found. The devs have said on a number of occasions that it is on the list but as most apps are still under development this is yet to happen.
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Music doesn't seem to be that important to many of the developers. Due to this it keeps getting deferred and treated like video. It really needs an interface of its own. Something similar to Spotify, iTunes, or the other Streamers out there.
reluctantflux 39 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I find the web client is best at music. I use it mostly at work, but I also find using the webclient on my phone is good, too. That being said, I've transitioned to using the android app for music most on my phone, and really enjoyed the "Instant Mix" feature highlight on the android client.
DGMayor 90 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I still run a subsonic server for my music and podcasts. You just can't beat it when it comes to music. I would love to see music work more like subsonic's and maybe a music only android/iphone app.
