DLNA - Server reports playback after the end of a media item

Wasn't sure if this behaviour was normal, but the server will notify me that a user is watching a media item on my Xbox one repeatedly even though the media item has finished.

 

For example last night my wife and I watched an episode of Supernatural, when I came home from work this afternoon, my notifications had twenty six entries telling me that a user was watching that particular episode.

 

This also happens with movies as well.
