Can't access my dashboard

I started a new thread kind of about this and never heard back from anyone. I am unable to access my dashboard. When I open up the server the only thing I can do is browse my library, I cannot access anything on the back end. The dashboard page pops up for less than a second and then goes to the main 'sign in' page and then all I can do again is browse my library. I tried unistalling and reinstalling and nothing has changed.

i have notice that too when they changed to this new interface new web gui it sometimes can not get access and when i do it puts me in a view with out the ability to switch to config dashboard or it just spins. also i notice that the server spits out the wrong web url sometimes i noticed from outside i get all options from inside the server itself i do not

Ensure that the user has "Allow this user to manage the server" checked.

Last resort find your "userId".  You can see it if you go to "My Preferences" and look at the url.

Shut down server and go to "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\config\users"

find your policy.xml and change   "<IsAdministrator>false</IsAdministrator>", if it doesn't say true then change it.

 

But by default you have to have at least on admin account.

There must be at least one user in the system with administrative access.
