Possible to post release apks directly?

Is there anyway the android developers would be willing to upload the apks to the forum for new releases? I don't have the play store or amazon store and won't install them for privacy concerns.

you can use http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ to grab the apk from the Play Store

i think that is your best bet because for us to have a manual process of posting the releases, we're going to get tired of it really quickly. now if somebody wanted to contribute with an automated github build when new releases are tagged, then it becomes more realistic.
