mobamoba 12 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I'm using Kodi 14.2 with Confluence Skin and 0.0.30 of the Emby addon from the Beta respository. This was a clean install of Kodi. A number of episodes and one movie didn't sync from Emby to Kodi and all of them had the exact same error in the log: Error adding episode to Kodi Library, no ParentIndexNumber. Everything else works fine, there were no actual error messages, and nothing crashed. I tried exiting and restarting Kodi in the hopes that that would somehow fix the problem, but it didn't. 1
Angelblue05 4132 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) @@mobamoba I think we could refine the log message, since it's not very clear hehe. It simply means the episode the addon is trying to add does not have a season number/episode number. If you go to your Emby server in the metadata manager and find the same items, you will see the season/episode number is missing. There was a problem in the Emby server recently (the fix is in the dev version, soon to be the stable/beta version) that caused modified episodes to lose this information. Simply refresh/save the episode to make the season/episode number reappear. Emby for Kodi should add them correctly after this. Edit: If you are on stable/beta, I think I saw Luke mention the fix will be pushed shortly. Or else, you can always switch to dev build (just for this install and then set it back to stable/beta) if it's not soon enough. Edited April 26, 2015 by Angelblue05
