Deihmos 169 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Are there any plans to improve the playback in IE? I cannot jump to a point using it and it has been like that for a while. I am not a fan of chrome browser. I have tried other programs that use html and it worked fine.
Luke 42080 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 well windows 10 includes support for HLS out of the box. So the Spartan browser will have a dramatically improved Emby experience. In fact, not even Chrome Desktop has HLS so it's possible that Spartan will deliver the best desktop experience for the web client. As far as windows 7/8, there are some hacky solutions to bring hls support to those browsers. eventually i will look at it.
