Hi, I have been a Plex user for the last year and when I seen Media Browser for the 1st time I thought it looked much better so I thought I'd give it a try.

 

I have the server installed on freeNAS and one drawback is that it take forever and a day to import all the media / match metadata etc. I can live with that, if it is only the once.

 

My main problem is MBT on my HTPC... only a fraction of the posters load and it keeps giving me errors and crashing. I have uninstalled and installed in so many different ways, I am losing the plot with it now. Is anyone else had this problem? 

 

Server -

freeNAS, intel i5, 16GB RAM

 

HTPC-

Windows 8.1, SSD, intel i5, 6GB RAM  

 

100Mb Ethernet

We are currently overhauling the Theater app, although if you can produce a crash log I'll get that resolved asap.

 

In the meantime until the new version comes out, we do have a number of other TV options.
