steini 1 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Hey guys Just tested my old version 1 Raspberry pi 256MB version with the new Kodi addon. I was testing it locally using https and the idea was to use it remotely over the internet. I first scanned on my laptop and sent the .kodi folder over which works, but just running in the main menu my PI freezes after a couple of minutes. When playing a video it also crashes after maybe a minute, but when I tried setting the plugin up from scratch (instead of copying the .kodi folder over) it crashed with a weird picture glitch when I pressed OK. I have tried lowering the memory in config.txt and have tried both a iPhone and a iPad charger (2 amps) I wanted to ask if someone is using the addon successfully with a RPI/RPI2?
tehdartherer 0 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Running here on a RPI2 to a remote server. Scanning of ~130 movies + 10 shows took ~5-10 mins. Everything works fine and is very smooth
steini 1 Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Good to hear. Will pick up a couple of rpi2s
