dragon2611 29 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Just picked up my fireTV stick from my local amazon Locker, Currently powering it from the TV's USB port and I get the message on bootup about connecting the power adaptor. However I've installed Kodi and the Emby addon and it seems to be playing fine so I'm not sure if it just pops up that if it doesn't detect the amazon adaptor or if it's really having power issues?

jhoff80 94 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I'm pretty sure Amazon mostly gives this message because they really want the device powered at all times for seamless updating.
