MB MediaCentre

 

MB MediaCentre is an unofficial app for Roku. The app has been in the official roku store for well over a year now and will soon be updated with version 2.19

 

To install simply find the app in the roku store and install.

 

Please report any problems/feature requests in this thread.

 

Version 2.19 adds the following new features:

 

• Redesigned Live TV viewing to match the Movies/TV Shows and Music viewing with background fanarts etc. The layout now allows full navigation of all channels and programs from one screen!
• Photos row added on home screen, slideshow now responds to * key to allow music background play etc
• Some new icons/bug fixes

I'd like to try the lite app before to pay for this.

I have not concentrated on that version for quite some time as maintaining two apps becomes cumbersome. That said, as far as I am aware it is still in the roku store? If not, then Roku have removed it for some reason which I would have to chase up. The changes mentioned in the first post are still pending as Roku take a long time to test and deploy apps.

yes, the MB Media Centre lite is in the store yet..and I'm trying, but there is' something wrong ..
It give to me the error "unable to connect"

 

preventively

  - Open TCP port 8096 on the router
  - Antivirus disabled
  - Firewall disabled

what else can I check?

The light version is heavily outdated, I'm going to delete it from the store.
