Video playback interrupts WMC recordings in progress

I am using Emby Server 3.0.5572.0 with MB Classic 3.0.258 on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. HDHR Prime tuner with the latest firmware (20150406).

 

Lately, whenever I play a video in MB Classic while a WMC recording is in progress, the tuner fails with a signal loss error. However, if I go into WMC Recordings, WMC thinks the show is still recording. To confirm, I scheduled another recording, then as soon as I pushed play in MBC, the tuner light went out.

 

So far I tried the following but the issue remains:

-Rebooted the HTPC

-Rebooted the tuner

-Upgraded the tuner's firmware

 

The issue just started happening so I am guessing the latest Emby Server is causing it? I haven't made any other changes to the HTPC. I had been using the previous tuner firmware and MBC 258 for a while, without issues.
