bkrieger 1 Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I have Windows 8.1. When Starting Kodi, I get a message that it's syncing db, getting TV shows, but it just hangs there, and I can't do anything. Any way to cancel this, or fix the problem?
bkrieger 1 Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 Here is the log file. Basically what it is happening is when sync db gets to "adding episode 8" and freezes on that and will not move on from adding episode 8. Not sure what episode 8 is. kodi.log
Angelblue05 4132 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) Can you please disable Kodi debug. Only enable the Emby add-on debug set to Info and upload the new log. If you need help, check my signature. Thanks! Edited April 12, 2015 by Angelblue05
bkrieger 1 Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 I was able to fix the problem. I deleted the video files in the kodi database, and when when opening kodi it completed a full scan. Thanks 1
Angelblue05 4132 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 That's great Yes until we fix the little issues here and there, there's a chance the database will get corrupted. That's why currently, it's suggested if things stop working, to start from scratch by deleting the databases and settings.
qkn 0 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Hi. I have the same issue. It gets stuck on a file in Kids TV. If I remove access to Kids TV in Emby for the user running the add-on it works. Running RPi 2 and Kodi openelec 15. Log files: http://xbmclogs.com/pnc9wdecy Thanks.
