rb0135 2 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Hi All, Sorry if this has been answered.. I did search but cant find the exact answer. I have been using the software for years, and with this newer version, thought I would open it up for my son, who is external to the network. As I have been in IT for a long time, I know how to open ports on my router, firewall, etc. and from what I can find, the firewall is letting the right ports through (must be as you will see my information below) and the router/modem is port forwarding correctly (again see below). At the moment, I have the server running on the default port, just using HTTP at the moment and have the modem/router sending that port to my internal IP address. The Emby server version is Version 3.0.5572.0 Ok, so any PC on the internal network can connect to the Emby server logging in as my sons user I have setup. When he tries to login the first time, he gets the logon page and it accepts the username/password, flashes the dashboard screen, then goes back to the logon screen. From that point, trying to login from his connection (or on the internal network) comes up with an error "Invalid username or password. Please Try again" even though he is putting in the right information. Even if I put the right username and the right password, it still fails and comes up with the invalid username or password error.
