patachou 0 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Hi Is there any 3D tag I can put in movie.xml to be recognized by MB3 ? Thanks Patachou
Luke 42077 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Yes, when you select a 3d type from the edit page, it will save a value into the xml file. i don't recall what it is so just try it.
patachou 0 Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 I tried that but the xml file doesn't change :-( The information is well in the "database" : when I call the page again, HSBS is there (and some other information modify)
Luke 42077 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 make sure save local metadata is turned on
patachou 0 Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Hi thanks for your quick answer. I set "save metadata whithin media folder" to on and go to the same movie page. I click on save, click on refresh, save again ... nothing change in my movie.xml file. Also, when I open the page to set metadata, the tree on the right is heavy to load (take minutes). Is that an idea to hide it ? thanks for your support
patachou 0 Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Excellent ! I'll put on my software rightn now.
Luke 42077 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 you should get it working using the edit page first so that you can see the right place to put it
patachou 0 Posted November 17, 2013 Author Posted November 17, 2013 Hi I used this tag in my software (MetaWMC), for example <Format3D>HSBS</Format3D>, to create a movie.xml file and the movie is not recognized as 3D movie in MB3 :-( Then I set a test installation to check all that. I took only one movie (here Killing Fields) and set 3D to HTAB (in the web interface) then "save". Here is the movie.xml where the 3d tag is invisible ! When I get the form back, HTAB is well displayed (so I can believe that it is saved somewhere). What's wrong ?
<Added>2013-11-17 00:00:00</Added> <LockData>false</LockData> <Type>Movie</Type> <CriticRating>33</CriticRating> <CriticRatingSummary>Texas Killing Fields is a competent boilerplate crime thriller, brewing up characters and plots used in better films.</CriticRatingSummary> <Overview>À Texas City, la police fait face à une série de meurtres, mais les rivalités internes qui minent le service et l’endroit épouvantable où ont été retrouvés les corps – le terrain vague de Killing Fields – compliquent l’enquête. ebr 16169 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 i don't follow. the tag isn't in that xml/. I think that's his point. He added the tag in the web client and saved, but it isn't in the xml.
Luke 42077 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 it should be under MediaInfo. that's how Pete (mcm) drew it up so i just added support for it. of course, if we don't have media info, then that would explain that.
