¡HOLA! Tengo este plugin desde hace un tiempo. Recientemente, al actualizar los videos del tema, se queda bloqueado al 96.7 % durante días, hasta que el servidor muestra el error. El servidor lo canceló. ¿Me pueden ayudar con esto? >>> ??????

Disabling Normalise Audio in the plugin settings worked for me.

Thanks, it worked for me. Now, tell me—if I disable the audio normalization, what disadvantages will we have? Will some background sounds play louder than others? Is that correct, or am I mistaken?

Feature Request:

An option to download songs to the theme-music subfolder
Theme Media Naming | Emby Documentation

I'm going to try get Radarr to make changes, but one thing I've started is enabling the renaming of movie files in Radarr. Annoyingly, if theme.mp3 is there, will it also rename that. The real solution would be to have Radarr add options to ignore certain folders/files when renaming, but I was thinking, until and if they make a change, if it was in the subfolder either it wouldn't rename it, or even if it did, it wouldn't matter because the file name rigid.

@radeonI haven't check in a while, but, have you been able to look into adding an option for this? I went back and forth with Radarr to get them to make changes, but that went nowhere. I'm hoping the theme-music approach will fix things.

http://www.televisiontunes.com/ is dead

dig and nslookup say NXDOMAIN
it's really best to kill it from the plugin because it causes errors nobody needs.

Having a weird issue where I am unable to scroll in the menu of any of the theme plugins. It shows a list of the download filters but does not scroll. Happening in Edge and Brave.

Newbie question - I've got everything setup and running perfect - however when the Music & Theme downloads the media for Dune (2021) - it is actually music/theme from Dune (1984). I've checked the metadata for the movie - and all of the IDs are correct for the 2021 version of the movie. I'm assuming the source that the plugin is pulling from is incorrect - is there a way to get this corrected? I've been searching for the answer - but can't find one. Thank you!

I've also noticed if you don't opt into the Contributors network, the plugin kind of ignores that setting and downloads it anyways.

And to be honest there's a bunch of new videos that are in other languages, just copies of a trailer, etc..  And some are just totally off..  South Park would be a good example.

The contributor's network has become kind of a mess lately, and I can't seem to unselect it. (as it appears at least from my end that it's ignoring the setting)

Apologies if this has been reported before...

I've noticed that any movie entries that have multiple versions (i.e Alien theatrical and directors cut - a file for each in the same folder that can be selected via dropdown in Emby) will not show the Theme Video. Is this expected behaviour or a bug?

The theme has definitely downloaded and is on the server.

Previous issue has been fixed, unsure what caused it...

@radeon- I've got a question about the community theme aspect here. I've noticed the theme videos for a lot of modern releases are now simply trailers with non-english speaking parts (or subtitles embedded into the theme video). If I were to make my own theme videos and stick them in the backdrop folder, what process is used upstream (on your server) to determine which theme video to keep for an entry (i.e mine versus someone else's)?

That could depend on what movies you are adding. If they are older they could have themes. If they are new someone may not have uploaded a theme yet. The theme are community driven and uploaded by us users. If no one uploaded a theme for thst movie it won't have one.

Guys the plugin works, but if you watch on celular or any box or tv the video not start, It only works in Explorer. Only the theme audio works in tv,box, celular, and I changed the app's own settings, Emby.

The playback isn't controlled or impacted by the plugins. The plugins simply enable the download of the themes as metadata so you would need to speak with the dev of the client for more details on playback

I know that plugins are for that purpose, but what I mean is that it doesn't work 100% with the Emby app... it doesn't work correctly on several platforms. Maybe wait for a few more updates.

I tested it myself with the same user on various platforms and the theme video only worked in the browser.

You've lost me. The plugins literally download theme media. Once that's completed, that's their job done. They have zero impact or control over the playback.

My friend, I really didn't explain myself well. The plugin does its job well, in this case downloading correctly. It has nothing to do with the plugin. What I mean is that in the Emby app, the video demonstration only works correctly in a browser. Sorry for my poor explanation.

I've got all plugins up and running and it's all working great! However, as others have mentioned on this post, there seems to be a lot of themes in different languages. I'm finding that I have a lot in Spanish (not English).

I assume there's no easy way to fix this apart from going through my libraries and manually replacing every theme I find in an incorrect language? Do we have any other options here?

I assume we can't do much about it if the contributors are uploading dubbed videos, but it would be great if we could somehow choose a default theme language, so we're only uploading/downloading from that repository of themes. Otherwise, perhaps a way to report/flag an unsatisfactory theme items, then after so many reports from contributing users, it gets removed from the repository automatically? - Just throwing out some ideas to keep things tidy for everyone.

Thanks for the work that's gone into this btw, it's a great feature to have!

Sorry, missed this one pal. I'm Android TV, yes, apple, not sure, I don't use them, I'd be surprised if it wasn't in there.

Really one to check with the Devs of the clients pal for full confirmation as these plugins don't influence playback, just download.

That said, if you really want to confirm 100% chuck any old mp3 into the route of a movie, call it theme.mp3, rescan your collection and give it a try. Make sure you enable them for the users profile too. 👍
