ReneSav 1 Posted April 27, 2025 Posted April 27, 2025 does not reach the end of the download activity..reaches up to 97.1% and remains stationary
Luke 42077 Posted April 27, 2025 Posted April 27, 2025 Hi, I think I would just be patient and give it time to finish. Maybe it's just taking a long time. I will move this posting into the topic for the plugin to ensure that the developer sees it . Thanks. 1
radeon 755 Posted April 27, 2025 Author Posted April 27, 2025 Give it time. You're likely throttled if you've hit it hard. Other thing to do if you want to try would be to disabled audio normalisation and rerun as it might be your system wing hit hard by all the ffmpeg requests
Nexusei 0 Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Hi Radeon, unfortunately I have not solved the problem (I have not found where to remove the audio normalization), but I have done several tests, I have not added films or used emby so that it has all the resources available. The result is that the video download stops at 95% even for 10 hours... as if it encounters an error and goes into a loop... for audio downloads and video series everything is ok
Painkiller88 248 Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 (edited) @radeonHi, just a quick question or an idea, maybe you could put the movies in the plugin section into a collapsable object. actually i have to scroll down over 6K movies to get to the settings Just an option for people with many movies. Thanks for your great work Edited May 3, 2025 by Painkiller8818 1

Find the plugin and you'll have an option for audio normalisation. Turn it off, hit save and run up the plugin. Otherwise I'll need a debug log to see where it's stalling.
ReneSav 1 Posted May 4, 2025 Posted May 4, 2025 I disabled normalization and in 15 minutes it finished the process. So should I leave it disabled or do I occasionally try again to see if it works again? In the meantime, thanks for the support Rene'
radeon 755 Posted May 4, 2025 Author Posted May 4, 2025 It's not really required these days as the majority of themes are already normalised server side. It was an early days feature that some original users still use. If you're finding the volumes are ok then just leave it off. Glad you're sorted! 1
rhodges 49 Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Feature Request: An option to download songs to the theme-music subfolder Theme Media Naming | Emby Documentation I'm going to try get Radarr to make changes, but one thing I've started is enabling the renaming of movie files in Radarr. Annoyingly, if theme.mp3 is there, will it also rename that. The real solution would be to have Radarr add options to ignore certain folders/files when renaming, but I was thinking, until and if they make a change, if it was in the subfolder either it wouldn't rename it, or even if it did, it wouldn't matter because the file name rigid.
radeon 755 Posted June 1, 2025 Author Posted June 1, 2025 Ah, I didn't know this was now an option. I'm away from home for the next month or so and the internet is far from what I expected so might be a task for when I return but definitely something I'm happy to look at doing 1

Current naming is fine but same problem exists here as it does with themes. All works fine if you move the file to this subfolder Edited June 1, 2025 by kingy444 1

This is the format I have them currently - personally keeping the movie name in the file name makes life easier for bulk manage my - both work fine from Emby perspective Ive just had a powershell script moving them for me. Would be nice for it to be integrated /Movies /Home Alone (1990) Home Alone (1990).mkv /trailers Home Alone (1990)-trailer.mp4 Edited June 4, 2025 by kingy444

geowill76 8 Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Hi Just wanted to check if there are any problems with the movie theme songs plugin. Reason I ask is that I deleted Lethal Weapon theme song from the download list filter as I replaced my copy of the movie with a better version so that when Emby scans the movie it redownloads the theme song. However, it doesn't seem to have done that. Lately, any new movie I have added to my library doesn't seem to download a movie theme song. When I run the plugin it only takes 13 seconds but doesn't seem to be scanning for Lethal Weapon. I have attached log file, which is a new log file that shows the plugin running, scanning movies. embyserver.txt
radeon 755 Posted July 29, 2025 Author Posted July 29, 2025 Looks like themes have been downloaded, others not which is generally when the host is having issues. I can't fully tell as there aren't any Debus logs on there. I'd be sitting on it for a bit whilst it sorts itself out.
geowill76 8 Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Hi Radeon Thanks for looking at this. I have attached new log file, in which I enabled debugging. Hopefully that helps. Noticed the issue a couple of weeks ago when I replaced Lethal Weapon with a new version. Thought I would give it some time to see if it sorts itself out or the host sorts itself out. I will sit tight for now to see if issue sorts itself out. embyserver.txt
radeon 755 Posted July 29, 2025 Author Posted July 29, 2025 Hmm, if you've left it some time already I'm guessing something isn't right! I'm away for my birthday and wedding anniversary for the next couple of days so if it's all good with you, I'll pick it up when I'm back?
geowill76 8 Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Sounds good to me, no rush on this. Thanks for your help.
radeon 755 Posted August 1, 2025 Author Posted August 1, 2025 Give the latest version a spin up pal. I think it should be sorted. Tested and working fine for me. It will need releasing to the other 2 plugins so if confirmed fixed i'll roll out to those
geowill76 8 Posted August 1, 2025 Posted August 1, 2025 Hi Radeon Installed the latest version and everything working perfectly, downloaded movie theme songs. 1
