Just back from being away, checked the code and I couldn't 100% remember. The trial is offered on the theme songs and not the videos.

Playback of themes isn't controlled by these plugins. They're metadata providers. The individual clients control their own playback. I'd suggest dropping a post on the relevant clients threads on the forums to show your interest.

Does this work for the android tv app ? The videos are working fine on the server but when I go to my android tv app they dont play

Anything special I have to do to get them to work

The only way is to download the emby theater app for the tv, and the theme videos will play, plus is better, just look in this community for the apk, is not on the official app stores

I think i figured out my issue of having to download everything manually 

scheduled tasks which i didnt see before. 

 

 

(tv show name folder)

• (season 1)
• ( backdrops) (( Video1.mp4 ))

Ok i Retried downloading under scheduled tasks. still nothing. double checked the apps and the videos i manually downloaded still doesn't play in the app. 

some browsers doesn't play the videos on the backdrop. 

my laptop opera browser doesn't work 

my desktop opera browser works 

I would think major anime shows would at least get the download automatically but nothing. it's going to take ages doing this. 

I'm unsure i want to keep trying to make it work if no response to email i emailed the paypal email for help. i read this whole forum and im still seeing nothing working properly 

why go through manually downloading if one or 2 computers will see it and the majority of my home devices will never see the hard work. 

is it possible for a refund?

you emailed me at 9.25pm lasy night confirming the plugins had done their job in downloading theme media then filed a PayPal claim a few hours later saying they don't work? I'm confused?

These seem like really inappropriate things to be posting in a paypal claim where you have already confirmed to me that the plugins are working. Both of your messages are miss aimed. 

First point made in the FAQ's of these plugins states the following:

Q: What are the Media Theme Video and Music Plugins?

A: These plugins download extra metadata to your Movie and TV shows which ultimate enriches the library experience whilst browsing your collection. They do not control any part of the media playback and simply download the theme media, putting it in the correct place within your media collections. What and where the media is played back is controlled by the client you are using and it's greatly advisable that you check with the client as to what functionality you will get before buying the plugins.

As previously stated, you emailed me at 9.25PM last night and I responded this morning to your claims?

Android tv clients has an option in Settings that you have to turn on, inorder to play theme music, and video backdrops.

The plugin works fine for me.

It successfully grabs all the video and music themes and puts them in  the appropriate folder in my file system ('backdrops'), under each of my movies and tv episode folders.

I am able to have video backdrops and music play successfully on clients that allow this option, after I have turned on the ability.

Hola, esta opción no existe para Android TV..Hemos solicitado en muchas ocasiones la implementación del mismo, pero hasta ahora no lo han hecho..Si que existe para la App de Samsung, Emby Theather y no se si lo está para IOS..Saludos...

@radeon i just purchased the plugin 4 pack but i'm not sure of the next steps to register them. I was expecting a code or something via email after the transaction went through but so far nothing. 


@radeon UPDATE: It magically started working after an emby restart. Perhaps a auto email or note in the paypal transaction to the effect of "just wait longer please" would have saved me my ignorance. Thank you kindly, sent another $5 your way.

Guys, i had same issue, just got wait at least 1 week for all data to generate, also this will only work on phones or pc, not on android tvs, the theme songs will work on everything, you can also add them manually, download a song or video to the movie folder and chane the name of the song to theme.mp4 for example

Thanks for this plug in. Best £8 I've spent in a while. Works well on PC web browser and LG WebOS TV. Not so good on Android phone app though, the app wants to play the background as a video on its own. That's the Emby apps fault though I think.

I think the background video is a very nice thing.

Now to my question:
Is it also possible to add a url for a video for a film/series so that other users can use it too?
Because not all videos are of good quality, or because the wrong video is stored here.

I think I made a mistake during ordering the plugin set. 

Bought the set on http://www.ballingtons.com/products/ and received a key. I entered the key under "emby premiere" and replaced my actual premiere key which leads to me being able to use the plugins but it now says that my premiere subscription is invalid.  

After entering my actual emby premiere key I'm not able to run the plugins (log says I'm not registered / it's just a trial)

Is it intended to switch up the keys for downloading or did I do something wrong?

I purchased all 4 plugins some time ago and really like the extra they provide to the Emby experience. I also have a lifetime Emby Premiere Subscription. Since I purchased your plugins, I have changed the email address associated with my Emby subscription, and my Paypal email address. I reinstalled Emby earlier this year and since then, they no longer work, even when manually running their scheduled tasks. Also, in the Catalog, all 4 of the theme plugins say, " The trial period for this feature has expired".

I can provide any information you need to resolve the issue. What do I need to do?
