Movie Theme Videos Plugin Questions and Support Thread

I don't control theme images and the meta provider for images are much wider and expensive so if you're not getting those, I'd be surprised if you were getting any them video or song so the fact yo have a song is only a good thing. Also proves they're working fine

Es fällt halt auf das schon recht lange kein Ordner "backdrops" mit Inhalt erstellt werden.

Sogar bei solch alten Filmen wie mein Beispiel heute.

Bei aktuellen Filmen kann ich mir schon vorstellen das es eventuell noch keine gibt.

Nur bei einem Film von 2003 wundert es mich doch schon.

It’s noticeable that "backdrops" folders containing content haven't been created for quite some time now.

This applies even to old movies like the one I used as an example today.

I can understand that there might not be any available yet for recent releases.

But for a movie from 2003, I find it rather surprising.

I have paid for it a few times over the years and paid again when it was reworked. Do I need to pay again or can you make a quick check to make sure I'm active? I downloaded the .dll and replaced it with the old one. It was working right up until the time that you @radeonsaid that there were issues with the new api. I might just be impatient and it is already working fine lol. 

Also movie and tv themes are still working beautifully

Of you've paid and you have your licence installed and it's not failing in your logs then you'll be fine. You won't need to pay again

I was just answering as that's where you download the new release if there is one. I'm away without my laptop so I can't see what the latest release version is but as they're not in the official catalog, they don't auto update

I'm seeing a lot of this in the logs.  Is that normal? Is that due to the throttling probably? I 'm guessing I should just be patient and sleep well knowing that it is working? lol

Hey @radeonSorry to come back with this but I left the plugin alone and didn't perform manual scans for a few days to just let is do it's thing. I'm going through my files and I can't seem to find a single new trailer that it has downloaded. 

Almost every error says "sign in to confirm you are not a bot" or "sign in to confirm your age"

Anything I can do to fix this?

I'm referring specifically to the ytrailers plug-in. The theme plug-ins are working just fine for me.

Oooh, think you might have pissed it off running it so much haha. And apologies, been away for work a lot recently. 

I'll see if I can import cookies to use an account but there is a chance that will get burnt if it's hitting so hard.

I ran it a few times in the beginning just testing. My bad. If I can confirm it is working I will just leave it alone and let it do its thing over time. I can be patient when I know its working lol.

Edit to add: Any chance of adding support for apple trailers and Hd-trailers.net? If they are available there it will use the youtube API less. Just curious.

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the TV Theme Videos plugin on Emby Server 4.11.0.3.

The scheduled task "TV Theme Videos" repeatedly fails for many different TV series. The same exception appears for each affected series:

System.InvalidOperationException: Sequence contains no elements
   at System.Linq.ThrowHelper.ThrowNoElementsException()
   at System.Linq.Enumerable.First[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source)
   at ThemeVideos.Upload.VideoUpload.Validate(...)
   at ThemeVideos.ScheduledTasks.LocalThemeVideoUploadTask.Execute(...)

For example:

TV Theme Videos - Error downloading uploading theme video for
"Meister Eder und sein Pumuckl"

I get the same exception for many other series. In total, I found around 78 occurrences of this error in the Emby log.

This does not appear to be related to one particular series or one corrupted video, since the exception occurs with many different titles.

My questions are:

• Is this a known issue with the current TV Theme Videos plugin?

• What exactly does VideoUpload.Validate() expect to find when it calls Enumerable.First()?

• Is there a recommended way to identify which metadata/file/source is causing the validation to fail?

• Would a debug log from a single failed task help diagnose this?

I'm happy to provide additional logs or configuration information if needed.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, I'm currently running Emby 4.11.0.3, which is a beta version.

So just to clarify: is 4.11.0.3 currently unsupported by the TV Theme Videos plugin, and would you expect this Sequence contains no elements error to be resolved when running the plugin with the corresponding stable Emby release?

All betas are always unsupported, irrespective of their version.

I haven't had any reports of the issue you're referring to on the release version of emby so no reason it shouldn't work

Alle neuen Filme oder neuen Serien danach sind komplett ohne Themes/Intros.

Ich nutze übrigens aktuell die Beta 4.10.0.31, falls das eine Rolle spielen sollte.

Seit dem Update auf Version 4.11.0.3 werden wieder alle Themes bei Serien und Filme geladen.

Funktioniert hier wieder wie es soll.

 

Since the update to version 4.11.0.3, all themes in series and movies are loaded again.

Works here again as it should.
