buddyweiser 105 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I've searched the web and both of MB's forums(old and new) for hours on end, but I cannot find a list of these switches for the life of me. Can anyone post a list of what emulators work with what switches? These are the ones I know that work for me: NESTOPIA(NES)- "{rom}" ZSNES(SNES)- "{rom}" Project64(Nintendo64)- "{rom}" Note: Project64 v1.6 will not run with quotes around {rom} Dolphin(Gamecube/Wii)- "--exec={rom}" I mainly need ePSXe(PSOne) and PCSX2(PS2), as neither of the emulators properly launch from MediaBrowser. However, a full list of all switches would be greatly appreciated.
buddyweiser 105 Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 Ok, so I figured out that "{rom}" works fine with the pcsx2 emulator, the program just needs to be ran as an administrator(does anyone know how to disable this feature for a single program, and not change the windows settings?). Now I just need to figure out why ePSXe doesnt launch the game from MBC
shaefurr 1340 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 For epsxe I use -nogui -loadbin “{rom}”
buddyweiser 105 Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 Now I get an error message EPSX: DEMO not found [bandicoot.bin"].
shaefurr 1340 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Now I get an error message EPSX: DEMO not found [bandicoot.bin"]. What format are your PSX games in, ISO, zip, bin.. ? I think I recall getting that error in the past but can't remember why, I know ePSXe doesnt like playing zips though.
buddyweiser 105 Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 They are mostly .bin files, but one or two iso files
TinMan2200 1 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Did anyone figure this out? I'm getting the same error
buddyweiser 105 Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 If I remember correctly, I did not have the BIOS in the psx emulator properly configured.
