mediaGuy 8 Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 I've been having an issue for about 2-3 weeks now where MP4 files (H264 and 2-Channel AAC) will kill my 360 Extender session when I try to play. AVI and MKV (via Shark007) play fine. The MP4s play fine locally and use the MF splitter (I even tried uninstalling Shark). Here's some log info from a test, I don't see anything odd. Basically the file looks like it's about to play and the extender session dies, bringing me back to the Xbox Dashboard. Not blaming MBC at all, just no idea what's changed on the system and don't really want to format. 2015-04-05 09:49:19.5113,Info,,Internal Player about to play Test(\\Movies\Test.mp4) ,41,Worker thread for Play Action2015-04-05 09:49:19.5263,Info,,Internal Player playing Test,41,Worker thread for Play Action2015-04-05 09:49:19.5323,Debug,,Calling MediaCenterEnvironment.PlayMedia,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:21.7258,Debug,,Going fullscreen,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:21.7603,Debug,,MediaCenterEnvironment_PropertyChanged: MediaExperience,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.1523,Debug,,HandlePropertyChange has recognized that playback has started,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.1558,Debug,,Sending Http Post to http://192.168.1.14:8096/mediabrowser/Sessions/Playing?CanSeek=True&IsPaused=False&IsMuted=False&ItemId=68479f912e7ad0ac1f3ca7076b15f6cd&QueueableMediaTypes=Audio&PlayMethod=DirectPlay&format=Json,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.2808,Info,,Received web socket message: PlaybackStart,5,2015-04-05 09:49:22.2958,Debug,,Setting now playing status to True,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.2973,Debug,,Playstate changed to Buffering for Test,, PositionTicks:4600000,, Playlist Index:0,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.2973,Debug,,Back from PlayStateChanged,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.2973,Debug,,MediaCenterEnvironment_PropertyChanged: MediaExperience,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.3013,Debug,,Sending Http Post to http://192.168.1.14:8096/mediabrowser/Sessions/Playing/Progress?positionTicks=4600000&isPaused=False&isMuted=False&CanSeek=True&ItemId=68479f912e7ad0ac1f3ca7076b15f6cd&PlayMethod=DirectPlay&VolumeLevel=0&format=Json,44,Worker thread for BasePlaybackController OnProgress2015-04-05 09:49:22.3553,Debug,,MediaCenterEnvironment_PropertyChanged: MediaExperience,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.3568,Debug,,Sending Http Post to http://192.168.1.14:8096/mediabrowser/Sessions/Playing/Progress?positionTicks=4600000&isPaused=False&isMuted=False&CanSeek=True&ItemId=68479f912e7ad0ac1f3ca7076b15f6cd&PlayMethod=DirectPlay&VolumeLevel=0&format=Json,44,Worker thread for BasePlaybackController OnProgress2015-04-05 09:49:22.4033,Debug,,Sending Http Post to http://192.168.1.14:8096/mediabrowser/Sessions/Playing/Progress?positionTicks=4600000&isPaused=False&isMuted=False&CanSeek=True&ItemId=68479f912e7ad0ac1f3ca7076b15f6cd&PlayMethod=DirectPlay&VolumeLevel=0&format=Json,44,Worker thread for BasePlaybackController OnProgress2015-04-05 09:49:22.4343,Debug,,MediaCenterEnvironment_PropertyChanged: MediaExperience,1,Application2015-04-05 09:49:22.4353,Debug,,Sending Http Post to http://192.168.1.14:8096/mediabrowser/Sessions/Playing/Progress?positionTicks=4600000&isPaused=False&isMuted=False&CanSeek=True&ItemId=68479f912e7ad0ac1f3ca7076b15f6cd&PlayMethod=DirectPlay&VolumeLevel=0&format=Json,44,Worker thread for BasePlaybackController OnProgress2015-04-05 09:49:22.5168,Debug,,Sending Http Post to http://192.168.1.14:8096/mediabrowser/Sessions/Playing/Progress?positionTicks=4600000&isPaused=False&isMuted=False&CanSeek=True&ItemId=68479f912e7ad0ac1f3ca7076b15f6cd&PlayMethod=DirectPlay&VolumeLevel=0&format=Json,44,Worker thread for BasePlaybackController OnProgress2015-04-05 09:49:22.7738,Info,,Received web socket message: UserDataChanged,5,
Macburp 112 Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Does this happen on every MP4 file you play or just some? I get this problem intermittently, and all I can find out is that its not an Emby problem its a WMC issue. Any extenders experts care to comment?
mediaGuy 8 Posted April 5, 2015 Author Posted April 5, 2015 Happens on every MP4. System worked fine for years, now the last couple weeks it refuses to play (extender session closes).
