BeppoMonkeyBoy 98 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 @ebr Ha thank you very much, I can now undo the code that uses the api, to fetch the series info, (though it wasn't a total waste as its got me to learn a load about the using the api) and reading resources from the theme fix, stops me from thinking i'm an idiot for not being able to make it work.
Cheesegeezer 3104 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Cheers Eric, thanks for the quick fix. I'll check it out on sunday, got a weekend with missus planned.
Cheesegeezer 3104 Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Which ratings have we added here just to be clear Item.imdbrating item.criticrating item.mpaa Nothing is showing up for me.
ebr 16169 Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 I filled in ImdbRating and CriticRating for Series (which weren't before). Mpaa/Official should have already been there. CriticRating is probably not going to exist for TV series but I confirmed with the debugger that ImdbRating is being filled in.

CriticRating is probably not going to exist for TV series but I confirmed with the debugger that ImdbRating is being filled in. Ok, that's what I thought. I may just have to recheck my code as i can't see it. Thanks for the info. Do you have a good site to go for on debugging in mcml as the ones i've found are very convoluted. EDIT: @@BeppoMonkeyBoy can you also confirm this or not Just to confirm... This is not working using the Gospel Theme, also tried square, subdued, xenon, Iridium, classic Metadata Chocolate Edited March 25, 2015 by Cheesegeezer
ebr 16169 Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 What I confirmed was that the value was being filled in at the c# level and it is. I assumed those themes were just not showing the field for Series but I'll have a look and see if there is something else in play.
ebr 16169 Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 Yep, there was other code in the core that was blocking that value for series. Got it for next version.
BeppoMonkeyBoy 98 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Not tested the new build but will at some point tomorrow, the previous build it wasn't working but embedded mediainfo was working fine.

Beppo it's working fine in 261. Just grab the [item.ImdbRating] to populate you scores or stars and what ever tier the TV Show is in it will grab and populate, so even if you had Season Scores it would do it for them too.
BeppoMonkeyBoy 98 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Yes it's working in the lastest, but on a similar vein, is it just me or are Writers, not being populated? Directors and Actors are but I can't seem to pull out Writers, Only noticed since I started revamping my details screen,
Cheesegeezer 3104 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Yes it's working in the lastest, but on a similar vein, is it just me or are Writers, not being populated? Directors and Actors are but I can't seem to pull out Writers, Only noticed since I started revamping my details screen, Writers have never been pulled in my experience and to try and get images of Directors also doesn't work, ST cursed to try and get Directors to work correctly.
BeppoMonkeyBoy 98 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Only noticed it because, i'm trying to do an actor summary page, that links off the detail page, I'm pulling a list using the moviedb api, so i can show a list of items that the actor has been in even if they aren't in your system, its kinda working in the lastest build, but i'm thinking of changing it again, to use the actor detail from the local mb api, and just the movie details from themoviedb, writer and director info will work the same as before.
