No play button iPad app

Crazy. I have one iPad working, and one iPad not. Doesn't seem related to user either - swapping between the two users doesn't change things; 1 iPad doesn't work, the other one does.

 

Edit. Oh buggar. now they both are screwed. hahaha.

Missus isn't happy!!! Glad I'm in Egpyt...

Could we please have an update as to when we might see this fix come through?

 

I understand that the app may have been developed by a third party, however I was directed to this app from the emby website as the app for iPad and therefore trusted that by paying my money I would have a fully functional app solution.

weird, on my son's iPad 2, when on the local network all the buttons are there (play )

when he is outside the network (wan) the play button is missing.

 

on my iPad 2, it works either way.

Yes I did, however it doesn't seem to be forthcoming, perhaps if there is going to be changes like this that cause major interruption they are planned for so as not to effect paying customers.

I am on the latest version.... Version 3.0.5582.1

The iOS app for iPad was just released. So the fix is in the AppStore now.

Just got the iPad hotfix, unfortunately there is still no play button.

The hotfix for iPad 1.1.4 just hit the AppStore. We suggest refreshing the user list on the bottom right and re-select the user, delete and readd the server or preferable reinstalling the app.

 

If the issue still existing please let us know.

The play button is back after reinstalling the app but,

The loadtime is much longer and the subtitles is simply not working anymore, it just hangs with "Loading subtitle" and nothing happens?

-EDIT> The subtitle problem is NOT a iOS APP problem. the app is working.
