stevendom57 3 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Hi All, I am new to Roku but not to MB. I have been using MB for several years, using a laptop as my client to feed my TV. Yesterday I bought a Roku 3 to be my client. I installed MB on it and configured it. I have it hardwired to a gigabyte Ethernet in my house. All seems to be fine but I get an audio dropout for about 1 sec every minute or so. When the audio drops the video continues. If I immediately rewind the audio it will play fine then, so I know the file information has gotten to the client properly. I know my server is fine because I haven't changed anything there. I tried this on 3 separate files so I do not believe it is the file format (but I guess it could be). I have set the transfer speed to 16.7 mbps. Does anyone out there know why this is happening? Thanks Steven
legallink 187 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I have experienced this as well, and I have no solution, although for me it is not every minute, but a larger amount of time and a larger audio drop (like every 15 minutes for 3 seconds or so), but not enough to bother me.
