bambinn 0 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Hi I have been using the older Mediabrowser that was not webbased and it worked fine. I could find my NAS(seagate blackarmor) in Networks, and choose the folders without a problem. Now when i try to do the same with the new mediabrowser, it finds the NAS, but shows it as empty. When i browse to it trough windows then i see all the folders with no problem. I have also tried to map it as network drive but this does not work either. Help please
NWGiles 10 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) Quick question. Do you run MB as a service or as a user? Does the user account that the MB runs as , have permissions to see/browse the files? I struggled with this to begin with. Edited March 13, 2015 by NWGiles
