Returning to wrong list?

OK, I hope I can explain this in an understandable manner...

 

Using the web client, server 3.0.5518.7, Chrome latest version.

In "My views" I've unchecked a bunch of folders so they don't sort under movies and TV.

If I look at the movies and TV groupings, everything is fine.

I go into a folder which is unchecked,

I go into any item,

and then click "Edit".

On the edit page, I click the items name to take me back to where I just was.

Then I click "Shows" or "Movies" (as the case may be)

and I've returned to a list which includes ALL series or movies.

Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding something?
