thepixel 0 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 (edited) Hello I'm having an issue with DLNA on a Sony Bravia TV. I have attached the logs from the server. Version 3.0.5518.7 The issue is on the TV it shows the Video Folder and the poster Image for the folder. But then there is no video file shown no matter what the file type is etc. Now for example these all play fine through a Sony Play Station 3, so the media files are not corrupted and do play fine. The TV has also played the MP4 Files via a USB Stick as well. However it can play music files without an issue. For Example an MP4: Video CodecH264ProfileHighLevel41Resolution1920x800Aspect ratio2.40:1AnamorphicNoInterlacedNoFramerate23.97602Bitrate1964 kbpsBit depth8 bitPixel formatyuv420pRef frames5CABACYes AudioLanguageengCodecAACProfileLCLayoutstereoBitrate91 kbpsSample rate48000 khzDefaultYes Containermp4 For Example: MKV Video CodecH264ProfileHighLevel41Resolution1280x720Aspect ratio16:9AnamorphicNoInterlacedNoFramerate23.97602Bitrate2935 kbpsBit depth8 bitPixel formatyuv420pRef frames5CABACYes AudioCodecAC3Layout5.1Bitrate375 kbpsSample rate48000 khzDefaultYes Containermkv ==Edit== forgot to mention I'm using all the default profiles that come with the standard install, no changes have been made at all. server-63561404213.txt Edited March 8, 2015 by thepixel
thepixel 0 Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Hi All Anyone got any information for me please. As it's starting to do my head in and I have gone through every for of profile I can think of. I'm now running Version 3.0.5557.0 and still an issue. I have tried changing the setting to only use normal folders etc and still no luck.
thepixel 0 Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 I have attached the logs for the new version as well Also tried targeted play and that error out. server-63562531672 - Copy.txt
Luke 42077 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Please try again on the latest beta. There's a number of fixes for Sony Bravia's. Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 The latest beta of Emby Server, 3.1.125, has numerous fixes for Sony Blu ray players from years 2013-2016. The changes will also be in the next stable release of Emby Server. Since I have a device for testing I am now able to test it fully and with the changes I've made everything is now playing perfectly. It's possible that some of these improvements can be applied to older players or sony bravia tv's, but I do not have those devices available to test with, so for that I'll need to rely on community help. Enjoy.
