Possible to use symbolic link when adding media folders?

Hi,

 

I have some home videos in another directory, and I'd like to create a symbolic link pointing to that directory and let MB server point to the symbolic link instead of the underlying folder. 

I created a shortcut pointing to that folder first, and then I tried to configure MB to use the symbolic link, but when I tried to add the folder to MB it doesn't show the link in the file selector.

Is it not possible to do so in MB or did I do something wrong?

Tried that, doesn't work. It says cannot find the file (or something similar)......

Just drop the shortcut to the other location into your regular home videos location and they should all get combined.
