I installed the Gamebrowser plugin. After doing that, I configured it as follows:

  • Platform Configuration:
    • Selected three platforms (N64, NES, and SNES)
    • Added the path of my NAS to where each emulator games are located as follows for each:
      • \\192.168.1.100\Media\Roms\N64
      • \\192.168.1.100\Media\Roms\NES
      • \\192.168.1.100\Media\Roms\SNES
  • Metadata & Art Configuration:
    • Added my credentials from EmuMovies

I then went to my Library and added a new media folder as follows:

  • Content Type
    • Games
  • Name
    • Games
  • Media Location
    • \\192.168.1.100\Media\Roms

After that, I had it "Scan Library". Now, when I go to my library, I see the new Games library. If I navigate to it, I see N64, NES, and SNES cover art. However, when I go into each of those cover art/folders, I don't see my roms. I only see the following in each folder:

  • boxback --> 0 items
  • boxfront --> 0 items
  • fanart --> 0 items
  • screenshot --> 0 items

The roms in those folders are .zip files. I tried unzipping them and re-scanning my Games media folder but that didn't have any positive effect. What am I missing here?

Thanks :)

Did you ever solve this?  Did you try adding 3 separate locations one folder down?

Do this for Library configuration

  • \\192.168.1.100\Media\Roms\N64
  • \\192.168.1.100\Media\Roms\NES
  • \\192.168.1.100\Media\Roms\SNES

instead of just:

  • \\192.168.1.100\Media\Roms
