MBC not opening! System.NullReferenceException Error

Hello, i've been using MBC for years with nothing to complain at all.
I've formatted my hd recently and installed Windows 8.1 WMC. After installing MB server properly like i always did, and never got any problems with it, i'm having this issue with MBC and i don't know what to do. It simply doesnt open. This message is what shows:

 

 

I'm sure i'm on the latest version of MBS and MBC, as i downloaded them yesterday from the official MB website.

MBC 3.0.254
MBS 3.0.5518.7
 

The log generated by MBC is the same whenever i try to open it. The txt file is attached.
The log generated by Media Center is also attached. There are no errors apparently.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Install the Release version of MBC and bring it up.  Then update to the new beta.

 

This is a bug in the new beta for first time installs.  I'll have it fixed in the next beta but the above will get you going right away.

Well, I don't know how ordinary it was.  There was definitely a bug in the beta.

 

I've just put up a new Beta though so future folks shouldn't have this issue.

ebr, when you try to download release version it downloads the latest beta version instead.
