mbc0 68 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) Hi, I am still having problems with Media Browser guessing at my massive libraries of Sport/Comedy/Documentary/Home Movies :-( I just want to have my media files left as they are labelled by myself but MB is assigning so many items all over the place.. as you can see this is supposed to be a Formula 1 Review, please see the example below & I will really appreciate some help with this.... Many Thanks Edited February 22, 2015 by mbc0
mbc0 68 Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Hmmm Home Video's used to do the same thing, has that changed now? The only way I could stop it was to use Music Video's as advised by you Luke but that interferes with my Music Video Collection :-S
mbc0 68 Posted February 25, 2015 Author Posted February 25, 2015 Hi Luke, I have spent countless hours experimenting with different file naming conventions and am still really struggling with this and basically I am stuck with the following 2 scenarios..... 1, If I use mixed content mode MB is detecting my Sport/Home Videos etc as random media which is completely wrong as I posted above 2, If I use Home Video mode I am back with MB multi-parting my collections again for example, WRC Spain Day 1, WRC Spain Day 2, Australia Holiday Day 1, 2, 3 etc are multi-parted by MB Is there a way I can add my massive Sport, Home Video collection and just have MB just leave it as a dumb folder? just let it identify the files in the folder? I really do have tens of terrabytes of sport archives that I cannot find a way of mb managing? Thank you for your time....
Luke 42080 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Yea I'm sorry about that but unfortunately in the second case we don't have any settings to turn off multi-part detection. I'd love to add settings for this on a per library basis but as overall demand for it is very low it's just not much of a priority. So I'm sorry but your best course of action is just to use file names that don't fall into multi-part naming.
AxelAxel3 23 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Just making it known that I am still having this issue as of server beta version 3.0.5569.0.
