kamakamadaun 6 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Hi. I think the experience could be more clean if empty folders were hidden. There was some discussion about this before: http://community.mediabrowser.tv/permalinks/5353/hide-empty-folders-from-mb Any chance of getting this in MB3? 1
kamakamadaun 6 Posted November 6, 2013 Author Posted November 6, 2013 (edited) Ah! I thought this was a server side option from reading the old discussion. I guess I just miss it in MB for android then. Shall I post there instead? edit: and the web-interface... edit2: I have disabled "Show missing items" and "Show Un-aired items" but I still see all shows since it keeps showing missing episodes in MBC. <-- edit3: this was fixed by exiting MBC and starting it again. Abobader 3464 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Good day, Please start new topic for any new issue, best issue be separated each in it own thread, for now go a head and accept Tikuf answer for your first answer. Thanks in advanced. My best
coolspot 22 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 (edited) kamakamadaun, ya I've mentioned to redshirt I'd like him to add "hide empty folders" to his android client. I think he mentioned he thought it should be a server feature. I believe the rest of the team has decided it should be a client feature (as media browser classic) so there still needs to be some discussion there to make that final decision. coolspot 22 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 As this was recently removed from MBC for performance reasons I'd like to promote this feature request for adding to the Server as I think the general consense seems to be that this be a server feature. 2
MrWebsmith 598 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 i agree that this is long-term should be a server/core feature vs a client-side item. with its recent removal from mbc i do see this now, but for me as long as its on the radar this isnt a hugely high-priority item.. below linux/live tv/chromecast/etc for me 1
jtritton 2 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 i agree - really useful feature for me too - hoping it appears soon 1
ebr 16169 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Not sure about server support. I put it back in MBC with some performance improvements.
