josh4trunks 70 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 @@mharvey500 Well ffmpeg runs (I suspected it wouldn't). I'm not sure where to look from there =[
Luke 42077 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 the error in the log file is not related to playing content. actually as far as the log is concerned, everything looks normal. ffmpeg started converting the mkv to mp4, and exited normally within 2 seconds. I'm guessing it finished that quickly because the input was your dummy sample video? if not then we'll probably want to look at that.
Luke 42077 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Ok, I see it's firefox.. It's a client-side issue that's fixed in 3.0.5518.7. This was a last minute fix that went in due to a sudden change in a recent beta of Firefox 36. 1
mharvey500 0 Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 It works in Chrome, so good sleuthing. I didn't think the browser was an issue so i did not mention it in the title. Thanks. Now I can get on with other things.
