Decided to look at the options for makepkg, and see a -i for Install package after successful build... no shit. She's running! Thank you for your help DaBungalow and for this post AlwinHummel. thefirstofthe300 292 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 As long as you build the package using the instructions either on this site or on the Arch wiki, the package will only update the binaries and the configuration and data will be left alone.
