Luke 42077 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 I think you guys will like this, in the next release.. 18
Redshirt 1487 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 and gamebrowser have also been updated to support this 15
sasaba 5 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Love the ability to pick and choose, great option.
swhitmore 781 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Great... now I have no excuse to clean up my images... 1
gthrift 64 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Looks good. Media Browser is getting closer to replacing MetaBrowser for me. There are a still a few features that would need to be implemented. Mainly file renaming, file sorting, and youtube trailers downloader.
thealienamongus 6 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Now MBS will pretty much replaces MCM for me. 1
Mark Anderson 2 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 You guys rock!. This is one of the most impressive pieces of software I've seen. (Might get around to writing an article for it for one of the mage I write for) The online browser option is great. Only thing I think I'm missing from metabrowser is the auto-renaming of folders. (it was nice that it would take "The Shawshank Redemption" and auto-rename it to "Shawshank Redemption, The (2007)", but I wouldn't go back to metabrowser now Regards mark
buddyweiser 105 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 This is an awesome feature! I used to change the coverart manually by downloading the pic from tmdb this will save me so much time great feature addition guys!
Heckler 147 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Hell yeah... I love this. I don't know if this was already planned, or added because I asked... but thank you, thank you, thank you. This makes MB3 Server just about perfect now... No need for any metadata programs at all... this plus the genre cleaner plugin which helps clean up all the crappy genres people add over at themoviedb. The only thing missing (which is more a media centre thing than MB) is the ability to turn on/off subtitles properly... I've tried other programs and plugins and nothing works.
buddyweiser 105 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Is there anyway to be able to change the downloaded trailers(just like the images and backdrops) as well? I get a lot of low quality trailers or trailers that don't play, or foreign trailers
david3663 29 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Which trailers do you mean the youtube trailers? If so i don't think they can change that much maybe add a quality filter for whats shown. For the trailer plugin i think it just streams from the apple trailer site. Edit - I am sorry i now see what option you mean the local trailer download for supporters. I am not sure what source they use for them i am sure ebr or luke can give more info on it. Deathsquirrel 745 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Did the upgrade yesterday and love this. Really slick Luke!
Steven 158 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 This is really great. It's really becoming a powerhouse for metadata! 1
Marc_G 95 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 The only thing missing (which is more a media centre thing than MB) is the ability to turn on/off subtitles properly... I've tried other programs and plugins and nothing works. Hopefully this will be well implemented in MBT, but there are two good ways to do it now: -Using MBC with the native WMC player, install on your system the LAV filter set. It will let you enable subtitles and provide a reasonable way to switch between them. -Using MBC with MPC-HC as an external player, LAV is internal (nothing else to install), and it all works fine. You may wish to customize the rules for when subs show in the splitter & subs filter properties, but it generally works. Marc

You bring up the OSD and you have a subtitles tab allowing you to select which one you want or disable. I only noticed this the other day myself, and very nice it is.
pagali 62 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 The image picker looks great, and I'm dying to try it! I've been watching the forum closely, but it seems I'm the only one for whom it doesn't work? I see the "Browse Online Images" button, I click it, a white window comes up with 2 dropdowns at the top... Provider, and Image Type... but nothing else. no images, no refresh button... nothing. Changing those dropdown selections does nothing. I've tried a number of different recent movies, and tried both from the dashboard directly on the server, and from a remote laptop where I usually do my editing. I even tried turning off the server's firewall temporarily, no luck. Never any error messages, btw... Am I really the only one having trouble? That's unusual! Server: Version 3.0.5061.25570 on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit Gigabit internet connection working and active.
Luke 42077 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 currently if you have internet providers enabled it will prevent the feature from working.
