Podcast Plugin is thrashing my internet connection

For 3 months now ...since sometime around enabling movie trailer archive (a setting which i cant find any mor and which warned might take a long time but not 3 months)...the download channel content task has never finished

3.0.5520.642 server version

 

Enable channel content downloading for: podcasts is ticked..

 

by monitoring the cache temp and channel download path

 

i can see one area of thrashing is podcasts being downloaded which are already downloaded (the numbers of files and theirs sizes stored in channel download path do not change).

 

 

edit...unticking podcasts for enable channel content downloading...allows the channel download task to complete in 1 second where before it was often seen going for hours..

 

toglling same setting back on and the channel task is back to hours to complete..

 

i have lots of bandwidth and hdd space in off peak hours so downloading offline is much preferred..

The Podcasts plugin has been updated with a new configuration screen to match the look and feel of the rest of Emby Server. I think you'll find it much more enjoyable to use and configure now. Thanks.
