Best Android TV Box for upcoming App?

Hey all,

 

What is the best Android TV Box for the upcoming app? Ideally I'd like to stay in the mid-high range ($30-$40 USD) if possible, although I'd be willing to go into the high-end (~$100 USD) range if absolutely necessary (although I can't see why a box would cost this much unless it comes with something EPIC).....

I believe the price point for these boxes will probably be in the $100 range since they basically replace a Roku or FireTV type of device.

 

Right now, the only one is the Nexus Player but another external box was announced at CES and many new TVs will have the interface built in.

Yeah a new TV is not an option, and the Nexus Player looks (and is priced) more like a gaming console than a TV thing.... I guess i'm still waiting for something to replace the chromecast than
