Live TV Issues - OS X Safari, iOS Safari

Wanted to start a new thread on an old issue that has been around for many months - with the current builds (Windows Server) Live TV playback to iOS Safari and OS X Safari are effectively not working. While we can start a Live TV stream Media Browser Streams around 11-12 Seconds of the Live feed and freezes. This only seems to happen when the playlist is generated as a m3u8 file. 

 

Some tests that have been conducted and the results:

When playing via Chrome (OS X) MediaBrowser generates a .webm file and live streaming works as expected.

When playing via Safari (OS X OR iOS) MediaBrowser generates a .m3u8 file and streams the first 12 seconds of Live TV before freezing
