tp546 41 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 hey guys, i have a sports folder that i classified as home videos and it has different sports as subfolders, and seasons with games and other videos inside each of those. some of the games i have "trailers" i want to use (usually, pre and post game), but MB doesn't seem to be recognizing them at all. what is the best way to fix this?

ebr 16185 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I don't think Home Videos can have trailers. It just isn't something we recognize. You could also try making them movies and just lock the metadata so that it doesn't go try to match them up with something.

I am a little afraid of changing the whole parent folder - what else could this affect?
ebr 16185 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Well, with the new server you can define content types further down the hierarchy so maybe you could create a sub-folder with just the items you want treated this way.

Luke 42080 Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 the main folder needs to use the unset content type. you can't have home videos as the parent and then override underneath that.

tp546 41 Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 okay i changed those folders to movies and now the trailers are working. however, now the advanced intros plugin is kicking in on me and i don't want it in there. @@ebr - is there any way to set the plugin to ignore a directory?
