Guest t.mortonorr Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Hi ebr, I realise you have probably given up on refresh rate switching but wondered if you had a look at mymovies. They have managed to implement it and it works. I believe it works by removing control from WMC over the refresh rate and then on play it switches the desktop refresh rate. I currently use MediaBrowser for my games and watching TV and movies away from home but would love to use it to watch movies on MBC but without this functionality its a deal breaker Let me know if you want more info on mymovies.
AdrianW 1058 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) In the meantime you could use an external player. I use MPC-HC with MadVR and have it configured to switch refresh rates. Edited January 21, 2015 by AdrianW
ebr 16183 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I have not put any more effort into it because it is quite difficult to achieve reliably. The best alternative at this point, as Adrian said, is to use an external player.
Guest t.mortonorr Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I currently use an external player but I really like the UI of MBC internal player
Guest t.mortonorr Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Also I use MPH-HC's internal refresh rate switcher. Would you reccommend MADVR and why?
