thefirstofthe300 292 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Transcoding is all handled by FFMpeg so go with whatever distro you are most comfortable with. There isn't going to be any real transcoding advantage by choosing one distro over another. The only thing that will make a difference transcoding is the hardware. The more powerful the hardware the better the performance. 1
