MBC on xbox 360 extender overscan issue

Hi all,

 

First post on these boards, even though I've been a long time Media Browser user and supporter (Since early V2 days even).

 

Anyhow, on to the guts: I have configured overscan on my extenders (using the config file in each extender user account appdata folder) to make the video fit my screens on my three xbox 360's, and that works well. The problem is, in order to have the video fit without blue borders, the MBC interface itself is now off screen in places. For example, the "config" button on the classic skin is off the bottom of the screen when I set overscan values so that video doesn't have blue borders.

 

It's not a big deal, as the interface is still usable for 99% of things, but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this and if there's a solution. I haven't had any luck so far.

Zero out those settings in MBC and use the registry method discussed here: http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/17016-blue-bar-around-playing-video/

No wonder I couldn't find anything in the registry! If they're only there while the extender is on and running...

 

I will give that a shot tonight. Thanks!
