gbone8106 25 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Is there an ip for previous versions? I was using 515c for the longest time with minimal issues. I updated today to 523 and it looks like my 3d playback is broken,it auto switches but the left and right are completely flipped and incorrectly zoomed in.All 3d fsbs movies we're working perfectly for me on 515c on my H series. I would like to go back to 515c if possible, can anyone help?
chessdragon136 677 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Hi there I have the app packages for the older versions but I currently have no means of hosting it so that you can install it.. Are you able to set up a local web server to install the app yourself? If not, once my current dev testing for screensavers is complete I'll host the app on that system. I'm intrigued as to why its happened though.. To my recollection it shouldn't have changed at all, at least I havent touched video playback since i've come back. But if we can diagnose by getting you back on the older version it will help to see if it is the app or changes in the server. Can you please take a picture of that is currently happening for reference purposes please. Thank you,

I have had all sorts of issues, some minor, some quite intrusive, across nearly every app on my television since Samsung rolled out its January 2015 firmware update. I had been waiting until I finally got all of my media onto the MB server before I started messing about with putting 3D on there. I just finished that this morning, and was looking for what extra steps I was going to need to take in order to make 3D work right using the Samsung app, as that is my most used means of accessing the server right now. It's disappointing to hear that there may be more technical issues in my future, even more so since I am running a 2012 model television, so Samsung support has all but folded up on me.
gbone8106 25 Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 it looks like Samsung changed something, it still auto switches (because of the fsbs tag) however I believe that its reading it as regular 2d mkv and playing it in side by side and not a 3d mvc mkv.

If nothing else, I can confirm whether or not the issue is present/persists. I think I might still actually be on .515c though. I'll have to check. Things have been working so nicely lately that I've been a bit lax about watching for updates.
FrostByte 5392 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I just watched Sin City a Dame to Kill For in 3D with no problems. I have a F series Samsung running on software version 1204 and using chess' app version test 2 screen saver. The MB server Version is 3.0.5490.2. I only have 5 or 6 movies ripped in 3D, but all have looked good using this app for me.
