I didn't think under the dome was going to last much longer. It was kind of like Lost when they have to get back to the island. All of a sudden they're still under the dome.

I stopped watch about three weeks ago, but I am going to watch the final episode just to see how they tie it all up.

Under The Dome is ending ?? About time !!

I gave up after season 1. It had a lot of potential, but as usual, they dragged it out for too long.

Might have to watch the last couple of episodes just to see if it matches the ending in the book :)

Man, The only thing that really matches the book on this one is the fact that there is a dome.

Didn't take long for this to turn into another lame attempt at adapting a Stephen King novel for TV (or movies for that matter). Too bad because I've always enjoyed King's novels but the guy just can't write a decent screenplay to save his life. This show has been rotting from the inside out since Season 2. If I have to look at those Botoxed lips on Christine much longer I'm going to puke. If they had stuck to the book, this show could have been really good but would only have only lasted a single season.

The Shining and Stand By Me are the only decent adaptation of Kings work IMHO. Carrie... meh. It, The Stand, Pet Cemetery, Cujo, Misery, etc., all crap I say. I'd still like to see someone do a good job of bringing Salem's Lot and The Stand to the big screen, though. -_- Oh, ok, I forgot Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.

Good lord, Stephen King has 200 writing credits on IMDB. :o Suffering Maine-iacs!

On a sad note, I'm sure going to miss Hell on Wheels. Best show of it's kind since Deadwood.

The Stand would make for a great movie, they butchered it in the mini series they made.

Unfortunately Pet Cemitary just wouldn't make it in the zombie infested society of film and TV right now, which is too bad because that also is a great story.

No - The Stand is way too long to do as a movie.  Maybe as a trilogy, but the story doesn't work that great for that either.

A 12-episode HBO show maybe..

Mr. robot this past week anyone?

Somehow they where able to pull the reins back a bit in the show before they gave away to much of the plot.

They introduced a new sub plot, and jumped right into the aftermath of "the plan".

That show is so great!

I'd agree. HBO should be capable of doing it justice. If they could get together with King they could create a series devoted to his best work. I'd rather they do that than just a one and done deal.

I have the last few episodes to watch this weekend. After not really clicking with me the first episode, this show has consistently grown on me. My nerdy, IT side loves it but my wife falls asleep when it's on. She's no techy and it doesn't hold her attention, therefore I'm not as caught up as I'd like to be. ;)

It is so good to see Christian Slater doing what he was born to do :D

Loved the last episode.  Will wait to discuss the implications until more people are caught up.

Yea, sad Mr Robot season is over.

I thought it was really cool the creator posted on Reddit to see what everyone's thoughts were on the finale.

Watched the first Eve, too cheesy even for the kids :)

"Eve" is a kids programme that aired in the UK back in January.

Is that the one you're talking about?
